Museum for Contemporary Artists

Be the Museum is a project started by Yvonne Shortt focused on artist & process with the belief each artist is their own museum. Each of us embodies the spirit of the museum because we create the art. The Museum for Contemporary Artists was started as part of the Be the Museum Project as a space to reimagine what the word museum can be when reimagined by the artist.  It is located in every space where an artist is creating.  All we have to do is declare we are our own museums. Each piece at the museum was created for the museum with the belief that the museum is the steward, not the owner,  of the work.  The museum has open hours Thursday's and Friday's but please make an appointment below.
